The Newman Center is happy to offer many opportunities throughout the week for WCU students to grown in faith and fellowship together. These small groups are made up of students from all years and majors looking to learn more about the Catholic faith in a relaxed and informal setting. Joining a small group is the easiest way to meet fellow Catholics on the campus of WCU and develop friendships that will last beyond the college years!
On Thursday Nights, the Newman Center starts with FREE pasta dinner at 7p, followed by a video or talk and a brief discussion. All WCU students are welcome, no prior knowledge or experience necessary!
The Newman Center typically holds three retreats per year, one in the Fall Semester, another in January, and the last in the Spring Semester. WCU students, keep an eye on the Facebook group for information regarding the next opportunity!
The Newman Center holds Eucharistic Adoration at 6pm every Wednesday in the upstairs chapel. Praise and Worship adoration is held one Wednesday a month at 8pm. Check the calendar for the next P&W event!
